CAREER OPPORTUNITY -  ACCOUNTING AND ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR  

Our client, a leading car rental company, is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to fill the post of Accounting and Administrative Coordinator.  

The Role

The Accounting and Administrative Coordinator will report to the Office Manager and will be responsible for:  

  • Conducting weekly and monthly payroll processing, including issuing pay slips, generating payroll summaries and deduction reports.
  • Ensuring timely payment and filings of NIS, PAYE and VAT.
  • Reconciling credit card bank statements.
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assisting with the preparation for audits and liaising with the Auditors. 
  • Preparing spreadsheets and entering data. 
  • Managing the Company’s Inventory Program.
  • Performing administrative duties which include drafting of correspondence, ordering stationery and office supplies, preparing contracts for staff, etc. 
  • Managing the Time and Attendance System. 
  • Liaising with customers and assisting with queries.

The Candidate

The Accounting and Administrative Coordinator should: 

  • Have at least two to three years’ practical experience working in an accounting support/administrative role.
  • Have CXC passes in English and Math and/or an Associate Degree or an Undergraduate Degree in Accounting.
  • Have practical working knowledge in the use of accounting software. Working knowledge of Adagio would be an asset.
  • Have practical working knowledge in the use of payroll software. Working knowledge of Micropay would be an asset. 
  • Have the ability to perform accounts payable and receivable.
  • Should be knowledgeable about journal entries.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and meet tight deadlines, with minimal supervision. 
  • Be a team player. 
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
