Our Client, a local shipping company is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the post of Customer Service Representative.
The Role
The Customer Service Representative reports to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for:
- Managing inbound and outbound calls, emails and chat messages from customers.
- Working closely with other departments (e.g., logistics, operations) to address and resolve customer complaints, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting customers with placing, tracking and modifying their orders.
- Providing accurate information about services, policies and procedures to customers.
- Maintaining detailed records of customer transactions and feedback.
The Candidate
The Customer Service Representative should:
- Have a minimum of five CXC passes including Math and English with at least two years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Have sound understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with Intermediate level experience using Excel.
- Be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks on a daily basis.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Have a positive, customer-centric attitude.
